This is one of the oddest health pieces I've read, since I have never considered asking my doctor for a discount or negotiating for a price - - like a buying a car. Maybe it is an idea whose time has come, given the high cost of deductibles. I'm just not sure the concept has made it this far south.
Whether or not you're bold enough to ask or follow the advise on asking physicians for a kinfolk price, this piece does offer some good suggestions when shopping around for healthcare. We could all use some pocketbook help with that.
