It's here. The H1N1 vaccine via nasal spray has landed on Mississippi soil. As mentioned in one of my online articles several weeks ago, it will be an unprecedented mass inoculation. As of now, the target is health care workers, then it's on to high risk population.
Flu nasal spray in general is effective for those without immune system problems and much less painful. I've had a seasonal flu nasal spray, and it reminds me somewhat of bug spray up the nose.
The government declares the H1N1 vaccine safe, yet I'm sticking to my original statement on this: I need a bit more data before rolling up my sleeve or clearing out a nostril. Think I'll watch first.
